Scouting for Food is the largest one-day food drive in the Boy Scouts of America.

Each year, our Scouts, leaders and parents collect canned food and other items for local food pantries.  In 2011 1,300 Scouts participated in our annual campaign, collecting over 36,561 pounds of food.

This is a two-part event.  Scouts will distribute door hangers and bags to fill with food throughout the community.  A week later, they will return to collect the filled bags, bringing them to per-determined food pantries in their local district.
